• The projects in this book are very simplistic with not much details and variation of colors. Great for cross-stitch starters who likes Far East motifs. Experienced cross-stitch artists can surely enhance these basic designs with more creative embellishments to make the designs more alive. The bonsai trees designs are pretty nice.
The thread codes are listed for both DCM and Anchor. There are also little blurbs for each design detailing why the author/designer choose to include it in the book and why she personally enjoyed stitching it. I have complete numerous designs in this collection and am pleased to say that guests continually make positive comments when they see them. If you enjoy Asian stitch-work, this collection is a definite must have
